Filming of Chhollywood Film "MA Previous" in Full Swing Across Nava Raipur's Breathtaking Locations
The beautiful and vibrant locales of Nava Raipur and its surrounding areas—such as Uparwara and Banjari—are currently buzzing with the action of Chhollywood’s upcoming film MA Previous. Produced under the banner of Aranya Films, the movie is directed by renowned filmmaker Pranav Jha and produced by the seasoned actor-producer Raj Verma.
MA Previous is a heart-touching family drama that centers around the emotional journey and conflicts of two brothers. Raj Verma and Deepak Sahu will portray the lead roles. The female leads include popular Odia film actress Hirnamayi Das and Bhilai's vibrant performer Aradhana Sahu, who rose to fame through her viral album Baila Ke Ghanghar, which amassed over 10 million views. Recognizing her rising popularity, the filmmakers are launching her official entry into Chhollywood through this project.
Speaking about the film, director Pranav Jha emphasized his commitment to strong storytelling and artistic integrity. He stated, "When you build a name for yourself, the real challenge is to not only maintain it but to consistently deliver better."
The film boasts a strong ensemble cast with notable names like Lakshmikant Jha, Sanju Sahu, Rajesh Baghmar, Anjali Chauhan, Shamsheer Sivanai, Dharmendra Chaubey, Omprakash Sharma, Sangeeta Nishad, and Raju taking on key roles.
On the technical front, Sunil Soni, a gold medalist from Khairagarh Music University, is composing the film’s music. The lyrics are penned by Sunil Soni and Vishnu Kothari. Choreography is being handled by Chandan Deep and Sanju Tandi, while Kanta Da is in charge of makeup and Jeevan Nishad is designing costumes. The visuals are being captured by Chhollywood’s rising DOP Raj Thakur, and Dhanraj Sahu is managing the production duties.
MA Previous aims to redefine the standards of Chhollywood with its compelling narrative, rich performances, and visually appealing locations. The film is expected to set a benchmark for storytelling in regional cinema.
